How to Make Creamy Pesto Pasta

This recipe is for one of my favorite pasta dishes ever. Creamy Pesto Pasta. This recipe is made by my sister and she thought us on how to do it. So, we can cook it on our own. My sister has a good taste when it comes to food. This recipe is quick and easy. You can make your own fresh basil pesto or buy it already prepared. In our case, we just bought prepared pesto sauce in Supermarket.


Procedure: – Boil the fettuccine on the side and check time to time to avoid overcooked
– In a suite pan heat approximately 3 table spoon of olive oil
– Add chopped garlic and onions and wait until it cooked (This is optional, you may or may not add but for me, it taste better with it)
– When the garlic and onions are ok, add the pesto sauce and mix. Be sure to stir often.
– When the pesto is warm and bubbly, add one can of tuna (Tuna is optional, you may add chicken or shrimp. It depends on your taste) stir often.
– Add all purpose cream and stir to incorporate the cream and pesto sauce
– Add salt and pepper to taste and stir again
– Add drained fettuccine on a plate and add pesto sauce and parmesan cheese on top

This is the pesto sauce I used. It is readily available in all supermarkets.

I used the spicy one for a kick!

To make the pesto creamy, add all purpose cream.

Adding Parmesan cheese is optional.

Now, you’re creamy pesto pasta is ready to serve.
